Dauphin County father was unable to defend himself against son’s attack: police

Feb 02, 2024

Timothy Kirschke, 36, thought his father was calling the police because he had pushed him into a cast iron firewood rack, according to state police.

But really, George Kirschke, 72, was calling Timothy’s doctor, state police said.

Because of that suspicion, however, Timothy Kirschke charged into his father’s bedroom, grabbed at George’s arms, began striking him in the face and eventually strangled him, George told Trooper Jonathan Sullivan after the incident.
